SPECIAL THIRD ANNIVERSARY BANDCAMP RELEASE LINER NOTES BY MATT HARNISH:

The last one, to date. Rob did so much of the work on this one, I think I never heard a single song until the whole thing was done. Is that possible? I think it is! That alone means that this is probably my favorite volume. Favorite memories: finally getting the Ded Bugs to finish recording that song they'd started recording for volume 4, Bug Chaser playing a video & doing a Q&A instead of performing at their release show, me offering Black James $25 for her unborn child at her release show.

I think Matt is giving me a little undue credit. I don't recall having anything to do with acquisition of the Ded Bugs or Catholic Guilt tracks, so he probably heard at least those two before I did. Of some note: This (as-of-now) final AVBDC volume features the first Hanukkah-specific contribution to an AVBDC compilation! Also, did Black James take you up on that $25 deal, Matt? Do you own Buster? I was always pretty happy with the artwork on this one, even though it probably incorporates the most famous artwork-from-a-different-record of all of the AVBDC volumes. It's opulent and bombastic and in a way it kinda let the A VERY BERT DAX CHRISTMAS series die with a BANG! At least...for NOW...
